By prayer and walking in love like Paul and Silas did in Philippi, and got their jailor (persecutor) saved in Acts 16:23-34. We overcome affliction: not by asking God to take it away, but by humbling ourselves before God to receive more grace to pray to overcome the affliction.

Depression, anxiety! What's the definition of insanity? I'm always feeling like I can't trust anybody. I don't trust the doctors or therapists. How can you sit and pretend that you would ever be my friend? When the only time you ever cared is when you were getting paid to pretend like my life ever even mattered. All while I'm sitting here thinking my life never really mattered. All the pieces of me are all but shattered. Have you ever tried to put a smashed window back together? It's easy to see, to look but never tell. Always lying to yourself, about demons you have seen. Saying things you never really mean. Doing anything it takes, with everything I take. Hoping maybe it can replace, always feeling like a mistake. I'm just a sin eater and this is my fate.
